Your questions, answered
How much does the Touch Account cost?
There’s no monthly fee when Touch is your main bank account. That means your income or benefits are paid in, or you switch your account to us.
How does switching work?
We use the Current Account Switch Service. We start your switch once you’ve told us your card has arrived. Your payments and Direct Debits move across within 7 working days.
Why does my card say “Business” on it?
That’s just how our banking partner’s cards are printed. Your Touch Account is a personal account, not a business account.
How do the Touch accounts work?
Touch uses linked accounts, all in your name. Your main account is where your income and benefits are paid in, and where your bills and Direct Debits go out. It has no card, so your bill money stays protected. Money moves across to your everyday spending account, which has your debit card. You can also add an extra account with a card for someone in your Support Circle. That account is still yours.
Can I limit how much is on my card?
Yes. You can set a balance limit on your everyday spending account, so you always know how much is available to spend.
Can Touch remind me about payments?
Yes. You can set reminders for important payments, like a yearly insurance payment, a few days before they’re due.
What is a payment delay?
It’s an optional short pause on larger payments. While the payment waits, you, and anyone in your Support Circle you choose, get an alert, so there’s time to check if something doesn’t look right. Nobody else can approve or block your payment.
Can I keep documents in Touch?
Yes. You can keep important documents, like benefit letters and statements, safely in one place.
Does Touch help me budget?
Touch isn’t a budgeting app. Instead, it gives you reminders, alerts and limits that help you stay on top of things.
Who can be in my Support Circle?
Anyone you trust, such as a parent, brother or sister, partner, friend, or a professional like a social worker. We check each person’s identity and how they know you. They sign in with their own login, so you never share your password.
What can my Support Circle see and do?
You decide. Someone can view your account, get alerts about larger payments, or have their own linked card with an amount you set. They can’t approve or block your payments.
Can someone in my Support Circle take my money?
No. They can only spend money if you give them a linked card, and only up to the amount you choose.
Can I change who’s in my Support Circle?
Yes. You can add or remove people, and change what they can do, at any time.
What if I’d like someone to manage my money for me?

Can someone help me apply?
